I love that my friends want to share their before and afters with me!  They all know I love a good project so it really makes my day when I receive an email about their craftiness.  Here are two recent projects my handy friend and talented sister have made.

First up, my sister Lauren who you may remember from this post.  She is working on two rooms right now; one for her toddler son, Nash and one for the little man on the way.  Last time she decorated a nursery she made all of the bedding herself.  How we are related yet I cannot sew a button is beyond me!  This time around she just updated the crib by making a new crib skirt.  Lookin good...

Next up is my handy friend Corbitt.  He can build all sorts of things: cornhole boards, shelves, really anything!  He pulled a sweet surprise on his wife the other day and was nice enough to share the pictures with me.  They moved into a new house recently and while she was working her nursing night shifts he secretly made over a room in their house.  The focal point of the room is the wood planked wall.  He hand-stained each piece and created a really cool rustic wall.  Now I just have to convince him to build one of these in my house!
